Kenneth OngSenior Privacy Counsel, Asia Pacific Privacy Leader at GE HealthCare Pte. Ltd.
Prior to joining GE HealthCare Pte. Ltd. (“GEHC”), Kenneth has worked for various Fortune 500 organizations and was a legal consultant with Axiom Global Solutions Pte. Ltd. Currently, as GEHC’s Senior Privacy Counsel, Asia Pacific Privacy Leader, he is the subject matter expert for GEHC in relation to privacy/personal data protection matters and provides both advisory and privacy operations support to GEHC in the Asia-Pacific region.
Kenneth’s expertise includes cross border transfers and emerging personal data protection laws. He participated in several discussions with personal data protection regulators in the region. Kenneth is both a Barrister-at-law in England and Wales and an Advocate & Solicitor in Singapore. He is a proud member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (“IAPP”) and a founding member of the Asia Data Protection Officers (“AsiaDPO”), a Singapore registered society. Kenneth is a Fellow of Information Privacy, an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Profession in Asia and EU and an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Manager.
