SCCA Pro Bono Chapter is proud to be part of the Great Singapore Give and SG Cares Giving Week campaign organised by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre.
As part of the Great Singapore Give and SG Cares Giving Week, there are 3 main activities planned:
1. Dream Big, Dream On
2. The Artground
3. Image Mission
Registration deadline: 06 December 2024
The Artground is Singapore's first multi-disciplinary arts centre dedicated to children from birth to 9 years old. They've built a space where families can come together to explore and experience the joy of the arts. Their mission is rooted in the belief that all children, regardless of their background or ability, should have access to the transformative power of the arts.
Alongside their regular children's arts programming, they take pride in offering free access to under-resourced families. They also run inclusive programmes specially tailored for children with special needs, as well as intergenerational activities that foster meaningful connections between young children and seniors. These initiatives make them a truly inclusive and community-centric space, providing rich, multi-sensory experience for children from all walks of life.
As a non-profit arts charity, they deeply value community and collaboration. To support their mission of bringing joy to children from all walks of life, they are excited to host a series of fundraising events over the next few months. These initiatives aim to sustain their arts programmes and expand their outreach.

Charity:
CARE's mission is to help youths succeed. Every person is useful and has something positive to contribute.
At-risk youths can be social assets instead of social liabilities. By being there for those who need a little more support, we can help change their future. Archimedes famously said, Give me a fulcrum and I will move the world.
CARE's chosen fulcrum is working with AT-RISK YOUTHS.
How can you help:
1. Support under-resourced families and orphans for a Day Out at Be The Change marketplace!
With your generous contributions, we can provide unforgettable experiences for children and families from under-resourced communities, including children from the Darul Ihsan Orphanage, one of the beneficiaries. Currently we are supporting 9 such children from 9 - 12yrs to attend the Entrepreneur Camp for free, to help them break out of the poverty cycle. We are also gifting tokens for families from the rental flats community in Kebun Baru and Marine Parade to the marketplaces. Whether it's offering a fun-filled day out, providing snacks for young attendees, or enabling a child to attend our FUNdRaisers Entrepreneur Camp, every contribution counts. Check out our donation tiers on Giving.sghere to see how you can help inspire creativity and joy in the lives of these children!
2. Volunteer your time!
We welcome families to come together to do good, and have fun at the same time!
For the marketplace on 14 & 15 Dec, children can Explore our arts space, engage with the craft activities while the parents shop for a good cause. We will need volunteers to help with the above-mentioned craft activities for the children, welcome the families as well as help to run and manage the marketplace (cashier, packing/sorting, encouraging sales of items).
If you would like to bring your children along with you, they can also have an opportunity to help out too (sanitise hands, welcome families) and/or just join the other children in our arts space or craft activities. You can sign up for a 4hr or 8hr slot on either or both of the days. Please indicate your interest here
