We are pleased to announce SCCA's WellFest the Wellbeing Chapter's first "Wellbeing Wednesday" series for 2025!

Our Chapter aims to focus on wellbeing topics for the legal/compliance in-house professionals in Singapore.


The SCCA is striving to continue its commitment to fostering the wellbeing of the in-house legal professionals in Singapore.


What the session will cover:


The conversations and dialogue will be held over lunchtime, in a safe space environment, and during a lunch. We will discuss careers, progression and management while having to balance many other matters including inter alai caregiving. Are you concerned about career progression with the backdrop of other personal responsibilities and dealing with deadlines and unpredictable schedules? This can become a major stress factor.


What this session will give you:


  1. Shared learnings and some tips and tools to consider.
  2. A safe space to discuss what the common issues faced are how to address this together sharing tips and approaches which can be considered to better manage careers, progression to the next chapter, balance and managing caregiving simultaneously.
  3. Some things to reflect on which you may be able to utilise and better manage mental and physical wellbeing of yourself, your teams or generally and those around you.

    Snigdha has been a long-time corporate warrior with a decade and a half of experience in magic circle law firms in London and Singapore and then in-house in investments, infrastructure and clean energy based in Singapore working across all major APAC markets. She is currently working as Associate General Counsel, APAC at Aquila Clean Energy based in Singapore. She is dual- qualified in UK (2012) and India (2010). She has also completed an MBA (part time- graduated 2020) from National University of Singapore.
    She is a mom and a self- proclaimed sleep evangelist. Her own struggles with anxiety and sleep led her to a deep dive into the world of child sleep manifested in getting an International Child and Maternal Sleep Certification and starting a sleep consultancy called Dreemer as a side venture alongside the sustainability focused day job. She can be found speaking about all things child sleep on Instagram at @dreemersleepcoaching and www.dreemersleep.com.

Transitioning from a 12-year role as Regional Legal Counsel on October 1, 2024, she brings expertise in legal frameworks and strategic vision to enhance asset performance with Schaeffler’s corporate vision. Notably, she led a multiple contract negotiations in SEA region when she was a legal counsel at Schaeffler. Her focus remains on sustainable growth and impactful real estate management.
