SCCA is partnering with Clyde & Co to host a Career Day for more than 50 children and youth (primary/secondary students) from underprivileged backgrounds. The "Dream Big, Dream On" initiative, organized by Care Singapore and Ties of Love, aims to empower children to pursue their dreams and to aspire to careers as big as they can dream.

We are looking for a small group of volunteers from SCCA to share their own career journeys to inspire the children to fearlessly reach for their dreams no matter where they are starting from. Volunteers will also join the children in experiencing a Day in the Life of a Lawyer. Together with lawyers from Clyde & Co, the volunteers will help recreate a tension-filled mediation session and a high stakes M&A deal to allow the students to role play as lawyers. Acting experience is not required but volunteers are expected to draw on their own experience as in-house lawyers to assume the (best and of course most important) role of The Client.
