17 June: Welcome to everyone who signed up to be part of this exciting learning journey. On 24 June evening, we will email you the Participant's Pack which will contain the rules and instructions for the competition and the case scenario. For now, no action is required on your part and please enjoy your school holidays until the Participant's pack is released.

20 June: Registration for the online Masterclass is open (29th June 2024 | 9:00am - 11:00am). Pls register here.

24 June 2024: Please check your emails (including junk and spam folders!) for the participants pack and zoom links for this Saturday's masterclass.

27 June 2024: Your team should have received instructions on the submission of any clarifications and zoom links to this Saturday Masterclass. Please contact marketing@scca.org.sg if you did not receive any of the above. Clarifications (if any) must be submitted by 28 June 2024 and our response to the clarifications will be given on 1 July 2024.

12 July 2024: The level of talent and commitment displayed throughout the challenge was impressive, making the selection process for finalists by our panel of preliminary round judges quite challenging. After careful consideration, we are pleased to announce the teams that have emerged as finalists for the SCCA Legal Eagle Challenge 2024 (in alphabetical order of the names of the leaders):

2024 Case Scenario

Come form a team of 2-4 law students where your team will step into the shoes of a General Counsel of a fictional technology company. The Chief Human Resources officer has reached out to you for help regarding a difficult situation. A whistleblower has made a complaint through the company's complaint portal that two of the company's executives (one of whom are the CEO of the Company) have engaged in commercial activities that pose conflicts of interest with their roles in the Company. A second whistleblower who has left the company has also made a complaint which alleges certain misconduct by the first whistleblower.


This competition is open to all students studying law in any public or private university or polytechnic in Singapore; member of United Kingdom Singapore Law Students' Society, or member of the Australia Singapore Law Students' Society.

Form a team of 2-4 law students and appoint a team leader to register. Sign up quick to grab the early bird promotion.

Registration closes on 1 June 2024.

All registrants will be able to sign up for a complimentary SCCA Student Chapter membership worth $50.

Besides bragging rights, the champion will win a $1000 cash prize and the Best Communicator will win a $200 cash prize. All finalist teams will have the rare opportunity to have a coffee chat with a senior legal leader to network and learn more about the in-house profession.
