Justice Philip Jeyaretnam is the President of the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC) and a Judge of the Singapore High Court. His focus since joining the Bench in 2021 has been on complex commercial cases, arbitration law, building and construction, company and trust law. He is also a member of the Judicial Service Commission, and the Presidential Council for Minority Rights. While in practice, he was a senior counsel, having been appointed at the early age of 38, and recognised as an expert in commercial litigation, arbitration and construction law in all major legal publications. In 2020, the Law Society conferred on him the CC Tan Award, which honours exemplars of professional values and integrity. He was managing partner of Rodyk & Davidson LLP from 2011, and, following its 2016 combination with Dentons, ASEAN CEO. Justice Jeyaretnam was the founding chairperson of the Society of Construction Law (Singapore), from 2002 to 2004, and served as the President of the Law Society during the years 2004 to 2007.
Jayne Kuriakose is the Head of Litigation (Asia) at DXC Technology. She started out as a Corporate and commercial and M&A lawyer and is admitted to the Bar in the UK and India. She set up and ran the Singapore office of a large Indian law firm before moving to an in-house role to satisfy her deep interest in the technology space. Her in-house experience in Hewlett Packard comprises of complex technology transactions, managed services, data centre and network transactions, infrastructure and cloud services, software licensing, hardware leasing contracts, security services etc. She moved to the disputes and litigation side few years back with DXC Technology to better manage the legal and commercial relationship on complex technology accounts. She is widely experienced in managing dispute resolution from an in-house perspective and has extensive expertise in driving pre-litigation and litigation strategy for her stakeholders. She is passionate about the use of technology in the pre-litigation and litigation space and changing business perspectives on disputes and litigation.
Nicholas (Nick) leads our APAC Technology and Media, and Intellectual Property practice having come to RPC from a large local firm with top tier TMT and IP practices. An information technology, IP and digital assets law specialist, he has over 15 years of experience in both high-value contentious and non-contentious matters.
Nick assists clients in managing and enforcing trademark, copyright and patent rights, and drafting and advising on agreements typical in the IT space such as master services agreements, software license agreements and software-as-a-service (SaaS) agreements. He has acted in some of the largest intellectual property rights and information technology disputes, both before the Singapore Courts and arbitration. Nick also has a specialist focus in the Web3 space where he has advised various companies and individuals on legal issues in relation to NFTs, decentralised online platforms, decentralized autonomous organisations and the tokenisation of digital assets.

The Head of our Singapore office, Navin leads one of the most well respected regulatory, compliance and disputes practices in Singapore. He is an experienced commercial litigator who has acted in complex multi-party commercial and civil disputes in arbitration proceedings and across all levels of the Singapore Courts. He also has substantial experience in advising on and undertaking investigations in times of crisis, particularly those arising out of employment issues, corporate fraud, corruption and other white-collar crimes.
Navin is consistently recognised as a “Litigation Star” by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific and as a recommended individual for dispute resolution by Legal 500. He was also profiled as a Distinguished Adviser in a Power Players: Investigations & White Collar Crime 2022 report by Financier Worldwide Magazine.
Daniel serves as Co-President of the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA), and is the Co-Chair of Data Protection & Cybersecurity Chapter and Student Chapter. He is also part of the Executive Committee (representing SCCA) with In-house Counsel Worldwide (ICW).
Daniel is also currently General Counsel and Privacy Responsible (APAC), Asia Pacific at Bruker, a German & American based manufacturer of high-performance scientific instruments and medical devices. Daniel heads the APAC legal team that covers legal & compliance, M&A, data protection/privacy matters for China, India, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Daniel graduated with a degree in law from University of Leeds. He holds active IAPP Certificates such as CIPP/A, CIPM and CIPP/E. Recently, he completed the SAL-INSEAD Legal Leadership Programme.
